On Thursday, April 26th we attended the zoo members Zoobilee at the Houston Zoo! It was a terrific evening! Since the girls love the elephants we started there. We actually saw one in the water for the first time.
The girls had a chance to try to hoola hoop to the DJ's music
The had a bunch of zoo keeper talks - we couldn't miss the sea lions.
Allie thought she would want to meet this monkey thing...Maddie got close and started screaming....
We got a first, free look at the new dinosaur exhibit, which was pretty cool! The dinosaurs actually moved
The highlight of the evening was the carousel. Allie rode a penguin the first time and Maddie was brave enough to sit next to me on the bench. The second time. Allie rode a female lion and Maddie rode a frog. They LOVED it!
