The last weekend in September we took off for a little vacation in San Antonio. Kevin took a half day Thursday, so we could drive out while the girls slept. We arrived with a few hours to hit the San Antonio Zoo, a favorite from our last trip in the spring. I will spare you all the animal shots, except for a few favorites, which we don't have in Houston.
A rock? Nope. Look closely and you will see a turtle. It's head and eyes are in the lower left of the picture. Pretty sure it was alive, but we didn't see it move.
A kangaroo - fun to watch!
Kevin's Favorite is the hippo. It is HUGE!
They have two hippos - here Allie is "petting" him.
