Our third and final day in San Antonio was raining, actually downright pouring. Friday night I think the forecast said 80% chance, so thanks to our friend Aimee who grew up in the San Antonio area we were able to make indoor plans. We decided to visit the New Braunfel’s Children’s Museum, which was outside of town, somewhat on our way home. It was wonderful!! The girls enjoyed each little make believe room. They washed dishes!

Shopped at the grocery store - complete with mini carts. Notice Allie's food selection. Cakes, ice cream pizza, and macaroni and cheese.

They had a chance to paint and make a mess (and I didn't have to clean it up!)
Maddie went kayaking, complete with a life vest so she wouldn't drown. : )
