On November 22nd we headed about an hour outside of Houston to retreat center that our Church just completely renovated. We were excited about hanging out with six other families from our Church for the weekend. The place was beautiful and pretty luxurious for a retreat. I was excited about a weekend with family and friends. Allie and Maddie just wanted to be with their friends.

Meanwhile, Maddie was playing with her friend Madison. We miss Sydney and Madison so much from the main campus of Houston's First. Their dad, Malcolm, was the co-teacher with Kevin in the Newlywed Class.

All in all an awesome weekend. We weren't sure what to expect with 16 kids under one roof. It would have been nice if it hadn't been 40 outside and we could have played a little bit more. The kids enjoyed exploring the big house and hanging out all weekend. It was nice to have family time, couple time. and relax! So glad we were invited to be a part of this weekend.
