Jordan Family Adventure: Seaworld!!

Allison and Madeline had been asking to go back to Sea World. And Allie really wanted to go to a hotel too. Not sure what her obsession is?!? By the weekend before Christmas, all our Christmas shopping, wrapping, and parties were done. So we decide to use our Sea World season passes one last time. I was a little discouraged when I found out that Sea World was only open on the weekends (we usually hit it on Fridays in hopes of beating the crowds) and open from noon to 9pm. - the day would be half over before we got there. Through their persistence we decided to go.

We headed out Friday and ended up having dinner on the Riverwalk with our dear friends the Coffmans who happened to be in San Antonio the same weekend. Then Saturday we enjoyed a leisurely breakfast. The plan was to head to the Chick-fil-a across from our hotel and eat lunch while waiting in line for Sea World to open. The chick-fil-a had awesome I heart chick-fil-a shirts and these cool cow hats!! A great way to start the morning.

We arrive at Sea World at 11:20 and to my shock there were other people (probably several hundred) who also arrived early to get in line. Luckily the sun was shining and we enjoyed our chick-fil-a lunch.

Our first stop was the dolphin feeding area. Allie has always been excited and willing to hold the fish, feed the dolphins, and pet them. Last time (September) was the first time that Maddie was wiling to hold the fish, but she would just toss it at the dolphin.

Maddie actually touched the dolphin!! That totally made the whole trip worth it! The Sea World personal had some different instructions this time - hold the fish out, then pet the dolphin, and give the dolphin the fish as a thank you. It worked!

After we were all out of fish, Allie told the dolphin good-bye. She continued to tell the dolphin that we were going to see the silly man show. He seemed to understand.

Off to our next favorite thing - the silly man show. Normally called Azul, this was some special Christmas show. The silly man is in red and on the "jumping board" as the girls like to call it. When they are swinging at the park, they say they are on their jumping board. Only thing is, the Sea World one goes 360 -full circle.
