Christmas Morning had finally arrived! Before the girls leave their room in the morning we read the Bible or do a little devotional. Today, we started with the Christmas story, the birth of Jesus. When they left their room to go to breakfast they walked right by the tree, not even noticing all the gifts.
Maddie went straight to her nativity calendar to get the last piece, Baby Jesus! She wanted to be the one to put Him in the manager scene.
The we showed the girls the tree...Not sure what to make of all the presets, but they definitely wanted to start opening.
After a little breakfast, we started with stockings. The harmonicas were a big hit!
Allie and Maddie wanted to stop and play with most of their new toys, so we let them. Here they are using their Melissa and Doug sandwich making kit.

The girls got doctor's coats with their names on them. I wanted them a little big, so they could use them for a few years, but obviously these are HUGE!
Dr. Allison and Dr. Madeline are all ready for patients!
One of the favorites of the morning was their own cd player with two microphones. They love to sing Chris Tomlin.
We took a break - too many gifts to open and play with in one sitting and headed to Nana and Poppi's house. (Those pictures to follow). Then we came back to the house for a much needed nap. Afterward we continued to open gifts.
Like I said, we stop to play with almost every gift. Here we are changing out the princesses dresses.

Reading books,
Putting our bike bags on our tricycles and adding all sorts of stuff to them!
After another break, dinner, and baths, it was back to opening. A few more gifts to go. Daisy was a great helper.
We had a wonderful Christmas morning and night!
