We had an opportunity to visit the beach along Lake Michigan with Aunt Sue and Uncle Chris. Saturday was in the 90s so it was perfect. It always amazes me how much cooler it is along the lake. The water was most likely only in the 50s or 60s so very cold. It was the girls' first trip to a beach. Madeline wasn't so sure about the sand at first. She enjoyed picking up and skipping (throwing) rocks with her Daddy.
Allie on the other hand, loved the sand and couldn't get enough of it. She had it all over herself, including her hair. She loved it when Kevin buried her leg!

After the beach we went to stay with Uncle Chris and Aunt Sue for the remainder of the trip.That evening we walked to the park near their house. Uncle Chris is a great Uncle!! Soon to be a great Dad to his own little girl in early November!!!
