One of my gifts to Kevin for our 10th anniversary was tickets to see and A&M baseball game. We hadn't been to a game since 2009, so we were due. I even got two tickets for the girls. We had a great time...until about the 5th inning and then Allie especially got tired of sitting still. And there was really no place for her to safely walk in the bleachers. We left and the score was tied 1-1. We were able to listen to the game on the way home as the girls soundly slept. Too bad we missed the second half. It was pretty exciting. Let's see if I remember correctly - there was a bunt by an Aggie that scored 2 runs!! Also an Aggie caught a ball deep, deep in the outfield - actually over the fence to prevent a home run that would have scored the opponent two or three runs! Aggies won 5-1!
Our friends Jill and Bill helped us capture the day with a family picture! Also they made the drive worthwhile by joining us for lunch. It was terrific to see them and hang out in College Station!
