On Saturday, January 11th they made Snow in Sienna! It was a beautiful sunny day and nearly 70 outside. We don't own appropriate snow clothes...but we did wear gloves to help keep our hands warm while making snowballs.

They also spread some snow on the side of one of the hills, so we tried our hand at sledding. They had some volunteers to help give you a push and bring the sleds back to the top. Kevin had to work, but thankfully our friends the Johnsons were there and Ruston got some great pictures!

We made it about half way down and tipped over. I got all wet, but protected Maddie from the melted snow.
Allie was determined to go by herself. Amy helped her get ready.
She was excited and then
started going a little faster than she was comfortable with
and wipe out! Thankfully she wasn't hurt, just a little shaken up. That was our only attempt at sledding. Which was fine by me since the line was building.....
