Jordan Family Adventure: June!

Not exactly sure where the month of June has gone. I fell like it was just yesterday some of our friends were getting finished with school. We have spent the last month trying to stay cool, doing story time at the library, playing with friends, doing lots of art projects, getting ready for our Church's local mission project, and SWIMMING!! I have pictures of most of these things, but need to get some of swimming. The girls love to swim and we usually swim four days a week. Just this week Allie started swimming more under water and turn on her back to float and doggy paddle. Maddie is very graceful and loves to be a swan and dolphin, gliding across the water!

We also have gone on several nature walks, especially in the green space in the center of Shipman's Landing. The girls love to check on their holes in the trees.

An amazing work of art!

Lots of lots of coloring and gluing. Starting to get in the lines. This masterpiece was by Madeline and proudly hangs in Kevin's new office. Yes, June brought about a new job for Kevin. After seven years at Suez, he is now an Assistant Controller at Air Liquide.

We had the Mission Interns from HFBC out a couple of times. Here is Maddie "decorating" Big Mike as he tried to rest.

The girls especially loved hanging out with the guys. The second time they came, Allie sat in the kitchen with 4 guys, all by herself. Here is Skyler telling a Rainbow butterfly and fish story. (We painted our first pottery this month too at Kelly's birthday party).
