On Friday, March 9th we took the girls to the Houston Livestock Show. They loved looking at all the animals. Maddie preferred the ones that didn't get too close. Despite a cold and rainy morning, we had a terrific time as a family.
We started out at the pony rides, since we heard the lines get long. Maddie wanted nothing to do with it, Allie got on and when we started moving, she started crying. That was the end of that. The man actually gave us our $12 back -

The petting zoo - complete with goats, sheep, turkey, duck, pig, deer, wallaby and llama. Allie loved it. Maddie stayed in my arms and helped me take pictures.

The best part about Elise was the pink (strawberry) milk! Yummy!

and elephants! Yes, this was actually the girls favorite part about the rodeo. An elephant that was on this billboard that changed into two other ads. Everytime he went away, Allie got upset. We ended up sitting on the floor in front of the sign eating our lunch!
